Ordinary Human Language

A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence

A movie about entertainment that is profoundly intellectual. I walked in knowing nothing about what I was seeing—the Beav had picked it and I hadn't heard anything about it—and so I only realized midway through that it wasn’t plucking its dull absurd notes for cheap laughs. The rest of the screening was trying to catch-up.

When I later learned that this movie is part of a series, I realized that this movie had trampled me in the street and that I was going to just to let it go on without me. Because I had other things to do.

In a different world, a different life, I’d love this movie and be able to say something about it.
