Privacy Policy

Who we are

“We” is me. “Our” website address is:

Also, “we” is wondering why “we” must have a privacy policy, but as WordPress┬«, the Great and Powerful, is telling us we must (and invoking “Europe” no less), “we” submit and sweep the dust with our chapeau.

What personal data “we” collect and why “we” collect it

Short answer: none.

Comments, Media and Contact Forms

There aren’t comments on this site. And when there are, you write them, and they sit there just being comments. If they’re mean-spirited, I’ll erase them. But that’s about it. So no worries: your comments are safely yours. No media uploads by you are allowed. So another bullet dodged. And the contact link in the right-hand column? It links to email, but the emails you send are your business. Write, say hi. But that’s on you.

You can’t create any content here, so unless WordPress┬«, the Great and Powerful, is playing games with “we” (and you), there shouldn’t be any cookies involved in what’s going on.

Embedded content from other websites

Occasionally (but very rarely) posts on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

All of this section is WordPress boilerplate. I hope it’s accurate.

If there are any analytics running on this site, I don’t know about them. It’s not that I don’t care about you, it’s just that I have things to do and can’t treat this blog like it was Facebook or Twitter. (Which I also don’t have time for and can’t treat like Facebook or Twitter.)
